Tools & Projects
From scientific workflows to working prototypes.
Selected collaborative builds exploring AI-assisted scientific writing, product development, and thoughtful interfaces. These SF Tech Week projects bring my research, communication, and workflow-design experience into new settings.
Scientific writing
Preflight
Party Multiplayer Hackathon · SF Tech Week · October 2026
An early local manuscript-review prototype that surfaces unsupported claims and missing methods details through passage-anchored suggestions. Authors decide whether to accept, reject, or modify each suggestion.
My contribution
I originated the project and helped build and run the prototype with collaborators. I prepared a synthetic manuscript test case with deliberate overclaims and reporting gaps, and developed a concept demonstration of author-controlled review.
Preflight extends my Scientific Writing Pipeline, whose earlier workflow was independently adopted by colleagues. The app remains in development.
First-place team
ORBIT
/build-with-AI Buildathon · SF Tech Week · October 2026
An AI founder networking prototype designed to help people find cofounders, investors, early hires, mentors, and potential customers. Our team won first place with a demo built during a 90-minute build window.
My contribution
I helped shape the product concept, prioritize demo scope, and consolidate brainstorming into a product brief for teammates. I co-presented the demo and fielded audience questions.
A collaborative buildathon prototype exploring people discovery and contextual networking recommendations.
Application design
Mind Map
touch ./GRASS Outdoor Voice Coding Hackathon · SF Tech Week · October 2026
A collaborative personal reflection web prototype with guided onboarding, voice and text companion check-ins, journaling, goals, and AI-generated mind-map insights.
My contribution
I set up the development workspace and repository, began frontend and backend code, recovered the team’s code after a platform outage, and overhauled onboarding and visual design. I also tested multilingual functionality integrated by a teammate.
I created the website walkthrough; a teammate created a separate companion-interaction recording. The project remains a prototype.
